OBJECTIVE REASONING
We’ve found the missing link!  It’s in the way we think—

The missing link is not a species but a kind. Nor is it  between animals and humans. It's between our ears!  Man's fall in the Garden of Eden included not only our human nature but our intellect as well. This sounds contrary to fact in light of the many advances of our present era. Actually, solving old problems creates a new set because every choice we make includes a set of unknown consequences. We make choices and choose consequences! At issue is the way we think. A subjective syndrome has plagued the human race from ancient times until now due to Adam's transgression in the Garden of Eden.

THE KEY PROCESS

Under 4D living we considered the principle of the Fourth Dimension. Under 4D reasoning we view the process, the key to this entire series.
An Old Testament Scripture reveals the basis of 4D objective reasoning. Isaiah 1:18 reads in part,
“Come now and let us reason together,” says the Lord.

The phrase “reason together” is highly significant. Here God confronts us with an alternative way of reasoning; namely, his way which is entirely objective. Simply stated, we reason either from our perspective or from God’s. A good example is a child trying to reason contrary to the parent’s better judgment (I Corinthians 14:20; cf. I Chronicles 12:32). The subjective mind begins with a premise. God begins objectively with a promise. The remainder of Isaiah 1:18 reads.

"...though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow;
though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."

THE KEY PROBLEM

The key problem is our ingrained trait to think from our point of view. It started with Eve away back in the Garden of Eden when she began to rationalize:

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof...
 - Genesis 3:6

This explains why some scientists believe in God while others deny Him. It all depends upon where one begins. Darwin for instance looked at resources while Einstein went all the way back to the Source. He began where God began: with light (Genesis 1:3-5). Those who know his equation, E=MC2, understand that the Constant represents the speed of light. Note therefore the Constant is not relative. In fact, it is squared! The other factors in the equation are relative but the formula itself is based upon a fixed law of mathematics.
The Bible tells us God is light (First John 1:5). The Son of God, Jesus Christ himself said, "I am the light of the world" (John 8:12). As God he is the sole Constant:
Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8)

Subjective reasoning is usually based upon false assumptions, as in Eve's case. Darwin and his friend Herbert Spencer, who coined the term "survival of the fittest," have been proven wrong by none other than today's environmenalists. Inadvertently, they support the Biblical rationale which is, more correctly, the survival of the fitted!
[Jesus Christ] is before all things and by him all things subsist
(Colossians 1:17/Conybeare).

In all fairness it must be stated that Albert Einstein did not support the conclusions of others who deduced (reasoned subjectively) from his general theory that everything is relative; that there are no absolutes. His answer was that his theories were confined to the realm of physics and had nothing to do with religious, social or moral issues.

THE KEY POINT

Another verse in the book of Isaiah at Chapter 55, Verse 8 clinches the matter—

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” saith the Lord

The key to understanding these themes on 4D Living is evaluating the way we think. Due to the fall we don't think as God thinks, so we need a guide, a "help file." Thankfully, we have the Bible which God claims is His Word (Isa. 55:11).
Our lockup in this three dimensional world finds us all reasoning horizontally for the most part. We think in terms of yesterday, today and tomorrow (linear) and depend upon various resources for our livelihood and comfort (breadth & depth). The Fourth Dimension provides height perspective. Rather than making deductions based upon resources we must go to the Source. Then our reasoning is in the properly adjusted frame of reference and the resources in turn serve to substantiate what God has spoken (Psalm 19:1). If you perchance do not agree I encourage you to read the Bible for yourself. But please be objective! Begin by telling God you are open to knowing what he has to say.
This Fourth Dimension is absolutely necessary to break us out of the mold. It is the key to understanding all areas of conceivable knowledge. However, our natural bent is to think and reason only in the area of the subjective which includes our environment, our world and our experiences past, present and prospective. The topics on the ensuing pages will clarify this further. In fact, they will help you see how reasoning from the Fourth Dimensional perspective will lead you to see the solution to all your problems, the answer to all your questions. In fact, when we learn the truth about 4D reasoning we learn the secret to understanding any field of knowledge. Jesus warned those supposedly skilled in the Scriptures:

Woe to you lawyers for you have taken away the key of knowledge. - Luke 11:52a

God's Word is absolutely essential if we would maintain correct thinking!
